The studio gallery features unique wall sculptures and ceiling suspended sculptures for which the artist is known. Also shown is graphic work by Henri Hevarter‚ fine crafts by Chris Grant‚ stained glass by Julie Pyron and silver jewelry by Bird.
Barbara is a graduate of the High School of Music and Art in NYC. She attended Cornell University‚ Accademia de Belli Arti in Florence‚ Italy and received a VS in ARt History from Columbia University.
Recently two large wall sculptures were commissioned from the artist by Neiman Marcus for their permanent collection. Other corporate commissions include Bank of Tokyo in NYC/ Computervision in Boston; the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Educational Testing Service‚ both in Princeton‚ NJ and the New York Academy of Medicine in NYC.
Notable exhibits include the New York Academy of Design; the Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC; the Chesterwood National Trust Museum in Stockbridge Massachussetts; the Bergen Museum and Princeton University.
Barbara is represented in Silver City by Lois Duffy Gallery‚ where her pedestal size sculptures will continue to be shown. She is also represented in NYC (Chelsea) by Serrano Contemporary‚ as well as in Sarasota FL‚ where she lives part time.
