Deep green mountains dominate the near distance. A far-off dog barks, the wind sighs, a titmouse calls. Household Hazardous and Electronic Waste Collection
September 13, 7:30 am
There will be a household hazardous waste and electronic waste collection on Saturday September 13 from 7:30AM to 3PM at the Bayard Community Center. Acceptable materials include most residential hazardous materials, including paints and thinners, varnishes and stains, solvents, oil, gasoline, antifreeze, pesticides and herbicides, pool chemicals, aerosols, cleaners, waxes and polishes, all types of batteries, lights, electronics (including old computers, monitors, TV’s, fax and copy machines), mercury and mercury containing devices. Hazardous waste generated from a business will not be accepted. No radioactive, explosive, or infectious waste. Carefully package materials to avoid spillage in your car or truck.
