WNMU Remembrance March-Walk for the Heros
Western New Mexico Veterans Affairs invites you to attend the WNMU Remembrance March- "Walk for the Heroes", Walk for the Heroes 15th Anniversary Vietnam Veterans Chapter 358.
The event will take place at Fort Bayard New Mexico Bataan Memorial Park, where the 3 mile Honor March around the Veterans National Cemetery and the Historical Landmark will begin.
Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the walk will start at 10:00 a.m..
The deadline to submit a picture is September 27, 2024. The cost is $25 for registration made payable to the Veteran Resource Agency Registrar at veterans.wnmu.edu/events/. Registered walkers will receive a Commemorative Coin, T-shirt, and water bottle!
Pictures of a Veteran and headstone need to be registered! There will be a presentation of plaques for Honored Veterans. There will be FREE food and drinks!
