Spain and the World War that Resulted in the Independence of the United States
Learn how Spain contributed to the success of America's Independence. The presenter is Thomas E. Chavez, a New Mexico native and historian. He is a former director of the Palace of the Governors State History Museum in Santa Fe, and retired as the Executive Director of the National Hispanic Culture Center in Albuquerque. He is the foremost authority on Spain's involvement in the American Revolution and has published 12 books. The DAR Jacob Bennett Chapter is presenting this community event as part of our mission of patriotism, education and historic preservation.Spain and the World War that Resulted...Date and Time
